Thu, Mar 19, 2015 | DIY Projects | By Natasha Alt

Do your kids know what origami means? Now it’s time to explain them and make this origami necklace! You will need colorful paper, scissors, needle and thread. The shape of this geometric origami is called ‘Triangular Bipyramid’. First cut a strip of paper with an even width. The width and length should be at least 1:4 or 1:6. Fold a small triangle on one end. Now fold backward at the end of the triangle and repeat fold like an accordion. Next fold the straight lines between the diagonals again to change the fold direction. Form the ‘Triangular Bipyramid’ by rolling the shape along. Next steps of the tutorial are here.
