Cool DIY Twiggy Christmas Trees To Make With Kids
One more awesome craft, that’ll set you and your kid up for a Christmas mood, I want to share today. Let’s make some twiggy Christmas trees! Prepare a few twigs, handsaw, drill with small bit, ribbon, scissors, large needle, sandpaper and liquid acrylic paints. Begin with cutting your twigs into progressively smaller pieces, using handsaw, and cutting several stubby pieces. Place them all to make sure they all look fine. Then drill holes into the centers of the twigs (make sure that both sides are balanced) and a hole down into the heart of the bottom-most trunk piece. Sand all ends. Cut a piece of ribbon that is 1-1/2 times height of your tree and with a needle thread it through all the 3 pieces leaving a tail hanging out the bottom. Turn that needle around and head back down the top 3 pieces leaving a loop at the top. Make knots as it’s shown on the photos below and color your trees as you like.
