Sweet DIY Paper Easter Egg Art To Make With Your Kid

Fri, Mar 28, 2014 | DIY Projects | By Irina

It’s less than a month before Easter, so I guess soon it’ll be the time to get crafty and make some cool Easter projects together with your kid. I’ve got a really cute and simple DIY to share today – Easter Egg artwork, which you can frame and hang up somewhere. The supplies are 8.5×11 egg template, 2 8.5×11 sheets of white cardstock, an assortment of colored and patterned paper, glue and X-acto knife. First print out 2 egg templates and cut several strips of colorful and patterned paper ½” wide. Let your kid place these strips randomly over one template and cover the whole egg with them, gluing down as you go. Cut out the egg out of the second template and place it over the sheet with strips. Secure with glue. Voila!
