Perfect Gift For A Mom-To-Be – DIY Bright Chandelier Mobile

Fri, Oct 25, 2013 | DIY Projects | By Irina

If someone you know is having or adopting a baby soon, you’re probably on hunt for a cute but useful baby gift. How about this bright chandelier? It’ll easily spruce up your friend’s kid’s room and will be as a reminder of you. The supplies are air-dry clay, brayer, rolling pin, ruler, cutting blade, shape cutters, awl, paint, brushes, embroidery hoop and stringing material. Begin with rolling out the air-dry clay the desired thickness and cutting it out to perfect shape. Make holes for strings and lay them out to dry. Once they have dried, paint them and the embroidery hoops. Wait until they dry and then add crisscrossing loops on the one side of the hoop to act as hangers and hang the shapes in any way you like. Voila!
