DIY Washi Tape Toy Car Track For Your Son To Play On
Washi tape is certainly the crafting supply du jour, and we’ve seen plenty of cute DIY projects where authors use it. But this is the first car track we’ve seen washi-taped right to the floor! With as many colors and patterns of washi tape as you can imagine, you can create lots of different kinds of roads and tracks for your kids to explore. Although we haven’t tried it yet, we think that washi tape comes up off the floor pretty cleanly, but if you are concerned, you could try painter’s tape. So, just use your imagination, create some roads, crossings and houses and you’ll keep your kid excited and busy for hours!

This is a really great idea – I just have to ask why the title is “for your son.” I would have loved this as a child…

Hello!
Love this! I was wondering where I could purchase the city wall decal from?
Kind regards,

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this project!
I recently started writing for Treehouse TV in addition to my own blog, Sew Creative. I did a post for Treehouse with a roundup of my favorite Hot Wheels projects. I included this in the roundup. I’d love for you to take a look:

I love this idea! Cuter and less expensive than the rugs!
