DIY Unbelievably Beautiful Painting With Watercolors, Glue and Salt

Tue, Jan 29, 2013 | DIY Projects | By Irina

These paintings on the photos look like real masterpieces made by true artists, don’t they? And the simplicity of creating them makes this DIY project just super genial! You’ll need a canvas, Crayola watercolor paints, water, paint brushes, kosher salt and Elmer’s glue. After setting everything up the fun begins! Start covering each canvas with as much color as you want and then drizzle the glue onto the painting. After adding the glue the final step is sprinkling salt around the painting. The salt creates a pretty starburst effect by soaking up paint pigments as the painting dries. And as an extra bonus: the salt sparkles! Let this dry for a few hours and enjoy your insanely gorgeous creation.
