DIY Super-Fun Snow-Globe Soap To Make With Your Kids

Wed, Dec 19, 2012 | DIY Projects | By Irina

This cool craft is really easy and it hardly makes any mess, besides you can make it with your kid. You’ll need: wee toys (like from Kinder surprise), a brick of clear glycerin, some soap dye in blue, soap scent, soap glitter, a bar of white soap, a potato peeler, a cheese grater, a spoon for stirring, ice cube tray. First cut up the glycerin into 1-inch chunks, microwave them until your soap is a nice gloppy liquid. After it’s melted, add your blue dye, scent and glitter. Pour the glycerin mixture into each section and let it cool for a minute. Then situate your toy upside down in each ice cube block, add “snow” (from curls of white soap) and a little more glycerin. Finally, pop it in freezer and you’ll get the ice cubes!
