DIY Lovely Grateful Tree Thanksgiving Project

Mon, Nov 19, 2012 | DIY Projects | By Irina

Thanksgiving is such a wonderful holiday and a great beginning of the holiday season. The most important thing to do is to focus on being more grateful and turn teaching our children to do the same. Small Fry Blog shares a wonderful way to get kids into the Thanksgiving spirit, with an emphasis on the thanks. Start with printing the leaves and cutting each of them out. As soon as it’s done keep a stack of leaves nearby and let the bigger kids fill them, then have younger ones tell you with they would like to add to the tree. Attach them with clothespins to the branches of the tree. By the end of this month you’ll have a tree full of wonderful blessings and it’s going to melt your heart!
