15 Scandinavian Kids Room Designs
Decoration of a kid’s room in Scandinavian style is not a spread phenomenon in design. And it is a pity! This ethnic trend perfectly meets all the requirements for the interior design for the little ones. The shapes of kid’s furniture are simple and functional, materials are only natural, and the color palette is based on white (walls, floor, furniture), sometimes combined with dark colors. Red, yellow, green and other bright colors are usually reserved for bedding, posters; and even toys that are part of the decor. It seems to me very wise to have a white base of a kids’ room design and to play with the rest of the elements. And what do you think?

[…] Scandinavian love! This simple and cozy style is so clear and so vivacious, it’s just created for life! This apartment is an amazing example of such design, it’s made in minimalist Scandinavian eco aesthetics with industrial elements and was created for a family with two young children. The main objective of this project was to save the height of the space around the house and to expose architectural craftsmanship – structural elements of the building – such as brickwork, wooden ceiling beams and roof purlins, and so designers managed to do that. I love lots of warm-colored wood in design, it makes the home very cozy and inviting. […]
