Painting stripes on the walls is a great way to create a bright and funny kid’s room. It’s not very difficult and can be done in a relatively short amount of time. You need to decide how stripes will be located (horizontally or vertically) and their width. The stripes help to visually expand the space of the room. To make the strips straight you have to use painter’s tape. Paint the walls in the base color (one that is lighter). When the walls are dry, mark the width of the stripes with a pencil and level alternating dark color with light. Having drawn the lines stick painter’s tape inside the basic stripes. Paint stripes using the second color, then remove the tape. If you stick the tape perpendicular, you can paint the wall squares and diamonds. Now look at the results of those labors and enjoy!
