These maracas look like paper mache but without all the mess. You will need plastic eggs, plastic spoons, washi tape / colored tape and rice or beans. If you don’t have washi tape you can use masking tape and color the finished maracas yourself. First you need to half-fill the eggs with rice. Next, place the egg between two plastic spoons. Then tape around the spoons to secure the egg. Now add strips of tape across the top to cover the top of the egg. Just wrap the tape around the rest of the egg and down the spoon handles to cover. That’s all!
