DIY Decor Halloween Block Heads For A Kids’ Room

Wed, Sep 24, 2014 | DIY Projects | By Natasha Alt

It’s fun to make some décor elements for a kids’ room that the kids can play with. You’ll need 2×4 cut into 6 inch blocks, paint, paint pen, felt, glue, googly eyes, pumpkin, witch (black curling ribbon), 2 wooden knobs painted silver for Frankenstein, white material for Mummy and Frankenstein’s Bride. Cut the 2×4 into blocks. Sand and paint the blocks. Depending on your wood it might take a couple coats. Cut felt pieces and material strips for each of the monsters you wish to make. Glue all of the pieces on. Add in extra features that aren’t made of felt. The rest of the tutorial is here.
