For some parents getting their kids to take a bath is an all-out war. You can make bath time more fun and inspiring. One of tactical steps is to make an original hooded towel. This tutorial shows you the basic process of making a butterfly towel. Let`s begin with creating the face and wings. Cut your hand towel in half horizontally. Fold under the finished edge about 3-4 inches and pin and then stitch it in place. You`ll make the eyes using pattern pieces. As for antennae, sew them leaving the bottoms open. Turn them right side out and stuff them with some stuffing. Cut a slit in your towel and slide your antenna into it. You can design wings any way you like, for example, cut the edges of the towel to look like wings. At last you can design the work to your taste. And that’s it! You’re done! You see that there are so many ways to make ordinary things special adding your own unique personal touch.
