Modern Boys Bedroom With A Castle Bunk Bed

Tue, Apr 30, 2013 | Kids room

The basic aim of the room design was to make more free space for two young boys who share a bedroom, keeping it fun, fanciful, and functional. Also of upmost importance was to allow the room to grow up with the children as inevitably they will tire of “that theme”. So it is the best way was using a bunk bed that allows saving more floor space to play. The castle bed is unique furniture in this bedroom that distinguishes it from other kid’s room. On the opposite wall a workspace area has been planned, and every boy took his own desk and bookshelves, as well as a shared storage area that also serves as a divider between the boys’ workspaces. On the whole boy’s room turned out clear, modern and functional.

DIY Key Wind Chime For Nursery Decor

Tue, Apr 30, 2013 | DIY Projects

Gifts, especially those created by kids, don’t have to cost a lot of money. In fact, the perfect materials for a thoughtful gift may be lying in your recycling bin. Giving old items a new life is not only green, it’s a lot of fun.  It is so cool to take something destined for the trash and turn it into something beautiful and useful.  And when we craft together with our children, we are teaching them to see “garbage” in a new, creative light. For example, you can create key wind chime using a handful of old keys, a piece of drift wood, string, and paint. It would make a lovely gift for anyone who has a garden or balcony, a birthday present for your grandma, a house warming gift for a new neighbor or decoration for a kid’s room.

Penguin Theme For A Kid’s Bedroom Decor

Mon, Apr 29, 2013 | Kids room

It seems that we turned out on the rookery of penguins in Antarctica. But it isn’t entirely true, as we are only in a kid’s bedroom made in penguins theme. Staying in this room isn’t cold, and very cozy because of plenty of stuffed toys living together with an owner here. Design of a kid’s bedroom is very well done. Every thing reminds of rigorous climate of Antarctic Continent: enormous blocks of ice, steep slopes and vast ocean. At the same time, nobody even will argue about that the theme of  a kid’s bedroom is not original. I believe this bedroom design is worth of admiration.

Sweet And Girly DIY Painted Heart Jeans

Mon, Apr 29, 2013 | Clothing

It doesn’t look like brightly colored denim is going away anytime soon, especially for the little ones. Of course, colorful jeans are good enough by themselves, but how about adding some stenciled hearts to them for more fancy and funny look? To do that you’ll need to cut out a heart stencil out of a thicker type of paper (cardboard or cereal box), some fabric paint, sponge brushes and your canvas of course. The tutorial is unbelievably simple: place your paper with heart that you’ve just cut out, paint it with your fabric paint, hold it for a little while and lift it up. That’s it! Continue the same way until it will be enough for you.

Cool Nursery Room Design Behind The Windows

Thu, Apr 25, 2013 | 2-4, 5-7, Kids room

A dreamy room for a lovely girl … and inspiration for all of us. This fabulous nursery design belongs to Lea Korzeczek and Matthias Hiller studio oink, which created it for the two little girls. The idea of placing nursery behind a large facade made from old windows and hiding it from adult world is awesome. Outdoors children can hang their coats and leave their nursery bags in the long bench. And indoor there are playing and sleeping areas in which girls play together on their stage, and also can relax in their bunks alone. Bright and cold wall colors were chosen to make the room larger. Because of parents’ desire the vintage closet was installed in new built-in wardrobe, it is rather an unexpected solution, and now it seems that the old cabinet acts as a passage into a hidden fantasy world. Such design of a kids’ room can be well suited when parents and children share one room.

Funny DIY 3D Animal Masks

Wed, Apr 24, 2013 | DIY Projects

Why wouldn’t you spend  a spring weekend together with your kids? There are not so many holidays in our life, so you can organize a family holiday or a kids’ friends’ holiday to make the life more interesting and cheerful.  For it you will need funny animal masks. They are easily made from scraps that you’ll find at home, and perfect for costumes, or just some pretend play around the yard. Animal masks are made on a cardboard base. They illustrate the characters from the children’s book Cheer Up Mouse. There are ten animals to choose from, and I’m not quite sure which I like most. Maybe it’s the squirrel?

It is killing! A little owner is really a Lego fan or lover. I-Beam Design and Architects incorporated nearly twenty thousand Lego bricks in the stair railing. The kid’s room was divided into several areas, it is very comportable to use the room.  Also the room is filled with whites and neutrals, along with splashes of bright colors, so having entered such a room you will get a sense of fun and whimsy throughout the entire space.
