Thu, Jul 12, 2012 | 5-7, 8-11, DIY Projects | By julia

Hi everyone!

I want tell you how you can make owl pillow boxes. How did I have such idea? It’s simple. One day I had saw those boxes on Pinterest and decided to make exactly the same. Pillow boxes are nice containers for small gifts. Pillow boxes are perfect for candies, jewelry, tiny confetti pouches or any number of decorative gift or party needs. To made owl pillow box you will need cardstock (the colors don’t need to be exact, just similar enough), glue and scissors.

Instructions:

  1. Print a pattern on copy paper.
  2. Cut out the pattern.
  3. Trace a pattern on the cardstock or heavy decorative paper.
  4. Fold all of the scored lines in the piece.
  5. Fold in the end flaps. Glue two ends of the pillow box.
  6. Put into the box, for example, small sweets and close it.
  7. Cut out the pillow box design and decorate the pillow box.

It’s easier than you think! I wish everybody good luck!
