Elegant DIY Leaf Handprint Wreath To Make With Kids

Thu, Oct 30, 2014 | DIY Projects | By Natasha Alt

Now it’s that time when you and your kids can make something creative in autumn evenings. For example, this leaf wreath. You will need finger paint, poster board paper, embroidery hoop (7-inch round), scissors, hot glue, wired ribbon (1 1/2 inch wide) and paper plate. Start by squirting finger paints onto a paper plate. Then your kids can swirl their hands in the mixture to blend the colors together. Now they can stamp their hands all over the two poster boards. Let the boards dry completely, and then cut out each print, making sure to also cut out a little tab at the base of each print. Next gather the hand print cut outs and insert them one by one into the embroidery hoop between the two rings. The rest of the instruction is here.
