DIY Kitchen Slipcover To Play With Kids

Thu, Apr 30, 2015 | DIY Projects | By Natasha Alt

It’s a very smart idea for your kids, cause if your they play enough with this kitchen, you can remove it very fast! You will need tape measure, off-white cotton twill, scissors, rotary cutter and cutting mat, water-soluble pen, fabric, fabric scraps in colors suitable for the burners, knobs, oven door, kitchen window, etc., paper-backed fusible web, sewing machine, iron, hook-and-loop fastener, double-fold seam binding and 4 large buttons. First you need to measure all sides of your chair. Then start to cut the slipcover pieces. Cut the pieces for the stove top, chair front, chair sides and chair back, adding 5/8-inch seam allowances as necessary. For more details of tutorial read here.
