Creative DIY Balloon Garland To Make With Kids

Wed, Aug 27, 2014 | DIY Projects | By Natasha Alt

This garland is the simplest decoration and it takes 10 minutes. You can make it with your kids, they’ll like to make their house or room more beautiful. You will need red balloons, red or white baker’s twine, scotch tape, green paper, scissors and glue gun. Blow up some balloons so they are small enough to group in small clumps as berries. With scotch tape attach a little to the balloon and stick to another. Group in threes or twos. Then cut out holly leaves in proportion to the size of the balloons. Now draw yellow veins onto the leaves. Tie the groups of berries onto the twine and leave extra twine at the front and back. Glue the edges of the leaves to the edge of the balloon and a bit to the twine to secure it in place. That’s all!
