Colorful DIY Milk Jug Elmer Elephant Craft

Wed, Jul 23, 2014 | DIY Projects | By Irina

Are you familiar with ‘Elmer the Patchwork Elephant’ children’s book? If not, you better read this with your kids any time soon, because it’s really fun, cognitive and very interesting. Plus we’ve got an awesome tutorial to share, which can go along with this story book. You’ll need 1 or more empty and clean milk jug containers, scissors, brightly colored tissue paper cut into equal size and shape squares, PVA and brushes, white card and black pen. First of all you need to form the elephant’s trunk by cutting into it just below the handle. Then cut off the entire bottom half of the jug and cut four legs into it, as well as the tail. Then the real fun begins! Read the rest at theimaginationtree.com.
